Apple Music Radio is looking for a Senior Production Manager to lead a content production team creating high-level content intended for worldwide exhibition on the Apple Music platform. You will provide strategic, creative and logistic guidance while supervising a team of content producers to deliver entertaining, top quality audio for broadcast across three Apple Music Radio stations as well as audio-on demand and Apple Podcasts. The Senior Production Manager will be responsible for the timely execution against business briefs provided by Radio Programming, Music Programming, Artist Relations and Music Business Partnerships.
Key Qualifications
Minimum 8 years experience in a relevant field, 4 years experience managing a team.

You are comfortable in a broadcast studio and with automation systems in live and pre-recorded environments.
Description
In this role, you will manage local and remote production teams of content producers translating business briefs into workable production plans executed under the required deadlines. You will work closely with Radio Programming and Station Leads to align content stories with platform initiatives and program goals. You will implement strategic original show concepts and features. You will passionately build an environment of constant creation. You will inspire and motivate a team to innovate in a fast paced environment. Act as Show Runner directing producers in the creation of high profile Radio content with internal talent as well as high profile Artists and Celebrity hosts. Manage producers interfacing with in-studio and remote talent to ensure professional and efficient studio sessions. Document and detail roles, responsibilities and workflow for content producers. Contribute and communicate capacity planning with larger Radio organization. You will collaborate with Production counterparts to develop and uphold best practices for efficient production workflow. Oversee booking of artists and talent for in-studio appearances and interviews. Develop and enforce Apple Music production standards and protocols. Ensure all productions are in compliance with Apple Music legal guidelines. You will collaborate with Senior Production Managers and Executive Producer counterparts to schedule, plan and articulate final content for delivery to broadcast, AOD and Podcasts. Responsible for communicating updates to impacted cross-functional teams. You may have additional project-based responsibilities.
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
