Innovative Counseling, Incprovides behavior modification therapy which encourages growth, skilldevelopment, and problematic behavior reduction while working one on onewith children on the autism spectrum at our center or in their homes.Ideal opportunity for graduates in social work or related field such aspsychology, human services, human development, speech and languagedisorders, special education, etc. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: *Build andmaintain a cooperative and professional working relationship withclinical team and families to ensure client progression *Model andensure respectful demeanor, professional boundaries, and compliance withagency policies and procedures *Assess clients\' current developmentalfunctioning level using approved curricula *Develop and implementindividualized treatment plan and behavior support plan based onassessment with collaborative input of the licensed supervisor *Designand implement approved programming with clients *Coordinate thecollection and analysis of data related to treatment programming andbehavior plans *Train, monitor and mentor behavior technicians assignedto your cases *Evaluate behavior technicians\' performance and providefeedback to ensure quality and consistency of treatment ***** OTHEREXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: *Must have a bachelor\'s degree (orhigher) in a human services or related discipline *Must have at least2,000 hours of supervised experience in the use of behaviorally basedtherapy models consistent with best practices *Must have a solidunderstanding of autism and behavioral principles *Must have a reliablevehicle, valid driver\'s license and proof of insurance *Must pass acaregiver background check *Must be able to sit on floor, move around,lift and/or maneuver up to 50 lb child *Must be able to swiftly andeffectively respond to aggressive behaviors utilizing behaviormanagement techniques ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail aRsum: [email protected]
