　　Position Summary

　　Looking for a great summer internship experience? Here’s your chance to gain valuable work experience with a leading health care provider.

　　This internship will begin on 5/28/24 and the duration of the internship program is 12 weeks. Please note that this is primarily a remote working arrangement, with some days onsite at a Portland, ME location. Interns must live in Maine throughout the 12-week program. The pay rate is $20/hr.

　　The intern will assist with Cybersecurity and/or Information Security strategic projects related to but not limited to the following:

　　Standardizing templates for procedures documentation

　　Assist with security operations and platforms

　　Assist with data mapping

　　Assist with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) application buildout

　　Assist with security compliance dashboards

　　Assist in mapping control statements between NIST 800-171, HIPAA Security Rule, PCI-DSS, CMMC, MAR, etc.

　　Job Description

　　Education/Experience:

　　High school diploma or equivalent required; Currently enrolled in two or four-year degree program such as Computer Science, Information Technology Management, and Data and Analytics is preferred

　　Genuine interest in the health care industry, interest in product marketing preferred

　　Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, or strong willingness to learn

　　Experience working in an administrative and/or customer service oriented environment preferred

　　Skills/Knowledge/Competencies (Behaviors):

　　Demonstrates an understanding of and alignment with Martin’s Point Values.

　　Strong organizational skills

　　Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a discreet and professional manner

　　Ability to take direction from multiple individuals and prioritize tasks appropriately to meet deadlines.
