　　Wage : $17.43/hour

　　Schedule : 1 st Shift 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday

　　Location: Cleveland, Ohio

　　Job Description:

　　The Auditing Clerk will process charges and payments to patient's accounts and input data that correlates to students grades and credit for treatment. The Auditing Clerk will serve as a resource person for students on completing necessary paperwork and following proper clinical protocol procedures.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Collect and post payments and charges to patient's accounts

　　Take and address messages or direct calls to appropriate person/distribute mail

　　Work with the accounting clerk and department supervisor to coordinate paperwork for Ohio Medicaid and their agencies.

　　Assist with the preparation of paperwork and cash slips to ensure payment

　　Review patient accounts for financial accuracy before student's complete treatment.

　　Verify that treatment plans in patient's chart have been approved by patient, student, and instructor

　　Process charges for second and third party billing

　　Create new patient account data for billing purposes for non-school patients

　　Qualifications:

　　HS Diploma or GED

　　2+ years experience in general office or customer service related field with cash handling

　　Experience with medical data entry, excel and Microsoft office in a network environment is required

　　Experience with American Dental Association and Ohio Medicaid codes preferred

　　Familiar with Dental terminology and instruments preferred
