As an Audit Manager you will: Perform audits, reviews,compilations, and agreed-upon-procedures for not-for-profit entities,commercial entities, and employee benefit plans Plan the engagement,perform fieldwork, prepare full disclosure financial statements andrequired reports for management and regulating agencies, perform othernon-audit accounting services, and prepare tax returns (if applicable)Travel to/from engagements, which includes some overnight travel whenneeded Respond to RFP\'s Evaluate and provide staff with leadership andcareer guidance Actively participate in community activities to developpositive relationships with community leaders and members Prepareworkpapers and returns for tax clients Attend continuing professionaleducation seminars Perform other duties as assigned Our ideal candidatewill have: Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or related field, with CPAor CPA eligibility Six years of experience providing accounting andfinancial services is preferred, exceptions can occur based on work tobe performed Exceptional communication skills Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice products Strong multi-tasking skills Ability to work extendedhours as necessary Ability to travel to local client sites as needed(some overnight may be required) Enjoy the great benefits at Hawkins AshCPAs such as generous PTO; 401k match; health, dental, vision, and lifeinsurance; wellness programs; flexible work-life balance; and so muchmore!
