Description
Bay Area law firm specializing in complex litigation seeking a talented and motivated Associate Attorney to join their team and contribute to our ongoing success. In this role, you'll play a vital role in shaping their defense strategies and achieving optimal outcomes for our clients. You'll be involved in every stage of the litigation process, from initial case assessment to trial preparation and beyond.
Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth legal research and analyze complex factual scenarios related to asbestos exposure claims.
Draft and revise persuasive legal documents, including motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery requests.
Prepare witnesses and attorneys for depositions, hearings, and trials.
Assist with the development and execution of effective defense strategies.
Manage case files and maintain meticulous records.

Qualifications:
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Minimum 2 years of experience in litigation, preferably in asbestos defense.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent oral advocacy and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
