　　Job Description:

　　Parsons is now hiring an entry level Associate Traffic Enginee r to join our growing Transportation group in Troy, Michigan !

　　Be a part of an established team, working on major area and state projects that positively impact and grow the infrastructure of the community around you!

　　What You'll Be Doing:

　　Perform a variety of transportation engineering duties and may be developing in a sub-disciplines of transportation engineering such as: highway, municipal/urban, and/or traffic engineering

　　Responsible for the development of engineering studies, computations, material quantity take-offs, estimates, surveys and designs

　　Under close supervision in the utilization of engineering theories and practices, develops the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements

　　Perform various engineering and design assignments requiring the application of basic principles and fundamental theories studied in a four-year university engineering program, and available data in the engineering field.

　　Provide support for other engineering activities as required

　　Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

　　What Required Skills & Qualifications You Bring:

　　Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)

　　Previous traffic/transportation related experience either in University coursework or prior internships

　　Requires basic process engineering knowledge, as well as a working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering

　　What Preferred Skills & Qualifications You Bring:

　　Related work experience and/or internships

　　Working knowledge of traffic simulation software such as Highway Capacity Software (HCS) and Synchro

　　Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate

　　$24.18 - $42.31
