The Associate Scheduler Security is responsible for supporting Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Security, by providing professional service and scheduling in a high volume, accelerated environment. You will work hand in hand with other Labor Partners, Operations Training and Operating Leaders on many different levels to complete schedules, improve labor utilization, update workload and ensure appropriate staffing levels. You will utilize all WDW Workforce Management systems including GEMS, My Time, SAP, Workday, HUB and Cast Mobile. You will assist Cast Members and leaders with questions regarding schedules and the scheduling process, be knowledgeable about the union collective bargaining agreement and assist leaders with finding creative solutions.
The selected candidate will report directly to the hiring leader.
This is a six-month Project Hire position with no guarantee of permanent placement.
This is a temporary assignment with no guarantee of permanent placement.
You Will:
Complete weekly scheduling process, workload and staffing review, labor audits and reporting
Work with Cast at all levels in multiple mediums (phone, email, MS Teams, Zoom Calls etc.)
Maintain and follow company policies and contractual obligations
You Will Have:
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills
Maintained and kept high levels of confidentiality as part of WDW business integrity
Demonstrated ability to manage conflict/resolution
Willingness to be receptive by learning new software applications and procedures
Capability to work independently both virtually and on-site as needed
Demonstrated ability to perform in a flexible and accelerated work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven strong background in analytical thinking
Awareness of or experience with WDW operating areas
Proven familiarity with GEMS and scheduling methods
Proficiency using a computer and computer programs (Microsoft Suite), specifically advanced knowledge of Excel data manipulation
Contract knowledge (collective bargaining agreements) with schedules, pay, etc.
Required Education:
