Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our team. This position can be based out of Woodridge, Illinois or Raleigh, North Carolina
The expected annual salary range for this role is $77.249 - $113,299 a year.

What you’ll do:
This position will support the Rack PDU products in Eaton’s Distributed IT portfolio including the Eaton Branded, Tripp Lite Series, and OEM platforms. This portfolio delivers over $70M in annual revenue and is critical to supporting D-IT growth initiatives.
The Associate Product Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining product information including technical specs, sales material, cross-reference tables, raw product data, and tools for the launch of new products and maintenance of existing lines. This role will work with the Product Manager in the development, growth, and expansion of the Rack PDU portfolio.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Marketing support
Develop and maintain marketing data including product specifications, ERP system data, and web content for the Rack PDU product lines and other product lines as required
Research competitors and develop competitive comparison analysis for sales and partners, highlighting Eaton’s product strengths and total solutions for the market
Update website and technical documents to reflect new product offerings and create tools to assist with product selection and competitive cross referencing
Assist product managers, channel marketing, and marketing team on messaging and promotions
Register products for sale in SAP and make updates to existing products as needed
Communicate market trends, assist with Voice of Customer research in coordination with the Product Manager, to D-IT leadership team and other stakeholders
Sales support
Support multi-channel go-to-market by recognizing end users, channel partners and sales teams and driving them to successful business outcomes
Act as a technical expert to support sales and support teams on customer opportunities and escalations when required
Attend 2-3 shows/partner events a year to assist in communicating our product line and building partner/customer relationships
Field escalated technical inquiries and provide timely response to centralized Technical Support Team
Interface with engineering, supply chain and manufacturing on product changes or issue resolution
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree in from an accredited educational institution
Minimum 3 years of Customer Service, sales, engineering, program management, or marketing experience
Ability to travel up to 10%
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Woodridge IL or Raleigh, NC will be considered for this position.
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, business or marketing
Technical knowledge of Rack PDU technology
Understanding of PROLaunch Product Development process or similar stage gate process
Experience with SAP, Enovia, and Office 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) is desired
Familiarity with PCM and/or PDH (Product Data Hub) for updating product information
