　　The Role / Responsibilities:

　　A Product Consultant (For QA / Software Tester Role) fulfils the following responsibilities with guidance of more senior team members.

　　Reviewing business requirements and preparing test scenarios/cases

　　Analysing users stories/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility

　　Analysing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability

　　Collaborate closely with other team members and departments

　　Execute all levels of testing (Functional, System, Integration, Regression and Database)

　　Detect and track software/application/functional defects and inconsistencies

　　Create logs to document testing phases and defects

　　Report bugs and errors to development teams

　　Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems

　　Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

　　Collaborate with associate programmers to fix defects.

　　Collaborate with build and release engineers to prepare packages.

　　Help investigate problems reported by clients.

　　Note: Prime objective is to ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly

　　Qualifications / Skills:

　　2-5 years of working experience.

　　Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or related major from top institutions.

　　Strong knowledge of database concepts.

　　Willing to learn new technologies, capable of self-directed learning.

　　Works well in a fast-paced team environment; able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

　　Deep understanding of software testing, its main concepts, and processes: the whole bug life cycle; different testing levels, methods, and types; test estimation techniques

　　Working knowledge of any test management software/tool

　　Critical thinking and analytical skills to examine bug reports and prioritize necessary tests, what information to include in the daily status reports, prioritize and estimate task execution

　　Good communication and teamwork skills to interact with project team members, clients, and stakeholders as well as work closely with the dev team - from reproducing the reported issue and emphasizing the fix for critical bugs to understanding how the bug has been fixed

　　Good understanding of Finance Domain

　　Knowledge of Database Framework like Postgres, SQL, Oracle, Sybase, MySql, MongoDB, etc.

　　* Knowledge of Test Management/Tracking Tools: Jira, Rally, Salesforce, Git, Jenkins, etc.
