  Position Overview:

  As an Associate Medical Director at Bloom Hospice, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional hospice and palliative care services to our patients. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physician with a board certification in hospice and palliative care, or a minimum of two years of experience in hospice and end-of-life care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

  Responsibilities:

  Collaborate with the hospice interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.

  Provide expert medical guidance in pain and symptom management.

  Offer emotional support and communication to patients and their families.

  Participate in the evaluation and admission of new hospice patients.

  Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the hospice program.

  Mentor and support healthcare staff in providing palliative and hospice care.

  Qualifications:

  Board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (preferred).

  Minimum of two years of experience in hospice and end-of-life care.

  Valid medical license in the state of Colorado.

  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

  The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. The pay range for this role in the state of Colorado typically falls between $220,000 - $235,000 annually with the potential for performance-based bonuses and other benefits. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and location within the state.
