Blue Grass Motorsport is hiring an Accounting Specialist for our Audi, Land Rover, Jaguar, Porsche, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, and Premium High Line Used Cars campus. This position will involve forensic research of our account receivables that will identify claims that are unpaid and collectable, claims that have been paid and matching the corresponding payment or claims that are not collectable. Candiate must have excellent reasoning skills and be able to pursue each claim to its final resolution. This is a temporary position that may transition into full time.  In this position you will have the following responsibilities: * Become fluent in our daily operating systems so as to conduct effective searches * Communicate effectively with department managers regarding claim information and status * Compile daily work sheets tracking activity and resolutions * Provide resolutiopn recommendations that result in reduced receivables  *   Requirements: * 2+ years of Accounting experience * High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred * Possess basic accounting principles knowledge, data analysis, and multi-tasking skills * Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable * Proficient in Excel and Word, Reynolds and Reynolds experience a plus * Ability to navigate and become an expert on different web sites from our manufacturers * Possess strong organizational, time management, and problem solving skills * Ability to interact with employees and dealership owners in a professional manner * Must be able to take on additional duties when needed   We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
