IF currently has 13+ facilities with 22+ micro-communities scattered across Orange County, Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire.
Job Description
The Associate Manager of ICMS is responsible for the day to day supervision of all Los Angeles ICMS
staff including ongoing training of ICMS staff and documentation monitoring to ensure compliance
with ICMS related contracts. The Associate Manager of ICMS is responsible for assisting the Manager
of ICMS with ongoing communication with funders to ensure effective implementation of all ICMS
related contracts.
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Oversee the day to day operations of the ICMS LA team.
Supervise ICMS staff to ensure client documentation and benchmarks are being met in accordance with the program workflow, including conducting weekly one on one supervision with LA ICMS staff
Understand IF ICMS contract obligations including documentation and policy related requirements
Manage program operations, including coordinating with other departments to ensure efficiency of program operations
Complete regular reporting as requested by the program funders
Communicate program outcomes, needs and provide status updates to management.
Conduct internal audits of ICMS documentation.
Utilize HMIS and internal databases to track service delivery
Oversee the disbursement of rental subsidies to property managers.
Demonstrate the ability to motivate staff, grasp new skills/procedures and foster a
positive attitude toward changes.
Effectively use interpersonal and communications skills including tact and diplomacyin order to address conflict
Ensure staff are following and utilizing best practices in their duties.
Support staff in handling client grievances and difficult issues with clients.
Models openness, honesty and accountability to colleagues, volunteers, donors and all others involved with Illumination Foundation.
Network with community partners to increase and improve services available to clients.
Maintain confidentiality of work related information and materials.
Preferred Experience/ Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Social Services or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of recent progressively responsible administrative management or supervisory experience
Experience in the area of non-profit housing and/or housing for people with disabilities and chronic health conditions.
At least 1 years of experience working with at risk/homeless individuals(preferred)
Previous experience working in property management or related fields
Knowledge of federal, state and local housing laws and regulations.
Current valid CA driver's license
Have a dependable vehicle with automobile insurance
Computer literate; ability to use Microsoft Office products and databases such as Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS). Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Bilingual in Spanish and English is helpful, highly desirable
