　　JOB TITLE: Associate Java Developer

　　JOB LOCATION: Burlington, Massachusetts 01803

　　REQUIRED TRAVEL: Typically, less than 10%

　　POSITION SUMMARY:

　　The Associate Java Developer develops components and solutions under direction. The Associate Java Developer works on basic and some moderately complex integration solutions for our software and client environments and assists with Quality Assurance tests for other developers.

　　REQUIRED DUTIES:

　　Develops components and solutions under direction.

　　Handles moderately complex integration solutions for our software and client environments.

　　Assists with quality assurance tests for other developers.

　　Assists with demos and presentations.

　　Participates in detailed designs.

　　Conducts environment setups.

　　Completes development and unit testing tasks.

　　Participates in peer reviews of design and code.

　　Handles bug fixing.

　　Handles issue research and resolution.

　　Handles smoke testing.

　　Contributes to authoring the Implementation Operational Information.

　　Handles patch release management.

　　Performs all job functions consistent with HealthEdge policies and procedures, including those which govern the handling of PHI and PII.

　　EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

　　Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or a closely related field (foreign equivalent is acceptable) plus 2 years of employment experience in software development.

　　Employment experience in software development must include:

　　A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience with object-oriented software development, including Java; and

　　A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience working with Unix or Linux operating systems.
