This role will be involved in day-to-day projects within the Tax team and will have the opportunity to work with other functional groups, including finance, human resources, legal, R&D and IT, as well as external advisors/auditors. The ideal candidate exhibits technical knowledge and the ability to manage and oversee Tax team projects.Essential FunctionsResponsibilities for this position will include, but not be limited to, the following:Prepare, manage, and/or review the ASC 740 income tax provision calculation for the quarterly and annual SEC filings, including effective tax rate, uncertain tax positions, valuation allowance, journal entries, footnote disclosures, etc.Prepare, manage, and/or review US international tax calculations including GILTI, BEAT, FTC, FDII, etc., and the impact of acquisitions or divestitures on the Company's global tax profile.Research complex tax issues and document procedures/conclusions.Prepare, manage, and/or review budget ETR, cash tax forecast, etc.Prepare, manage, and/or review tax returns and related extensions/estimates (including US, states/local, Canada, and Japan).Provide support and/or manage IRS and state income/franchise tax notices and audits.Contributes to the development of and ensures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.Identify and effectively implement process improvements and efficiencies.Lead, train, and develop senior analyst, managers, and senior manager.Assist or manage other ad hoc/special projects (e.g., Section 382 study, credit study, tax planning, M&A, sales/use/withholding tax assistance, review business contracts, etc.)as needed.Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to solve unique and complex problems that broadly impact the function and/or broader department.Advanced critical thinking and decision-making skills.Experience with tax modeling and scenario planning.Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks appropriately, meet deadlines, execute with accuracy, and recognize when issues need escalation.Self-starter, able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment, including being flexible to geographic time zones.Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills.Responsibilities may require a work schedule that may include working outside of "normal" work hours, to meet business demands.Required/Preferred Education and LicensesMinimum nine years of recent experience in US corporate income tax with a combination of Big Four and multinational corporate tax department. Recent experience with ASC 740 is required. Preference will be given to c
