rrPosition Summary:
rThe Associate Director of Development is responsible for overseeingannual giving programs, alumni engagement and donor relations activitiesin the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS). This personwould be a key member of the CALS Development team and works closelywith the CALS Communications team while collaboratively aiming toachieve goals for the college/unit.
Duties may include:
Managing annual giving programsCoordinating college sponsorship activitiesGrowing and enhancing alumni engagementFacilitating stewardship of donors,Actively managing donor-funded scholarship logisticsrrMinimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree; four years of additional experience (for a totalof six) may substitute for a Bachelors Degree.{=html}<>- Two years of experience in marketing, communications, fundraising, or other work experience which involves customer service and direct contact with clients, constituents, customers or prospective customers- Familiarity with database computer systems and applications- Experience working in an environment dependent on developing and maintaining relationships
rrPreferred Qualifications:
rExperience in/with:
Volunteer boards and committees.Working with corporations on partnerships or sponsorships.Project management.Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.Demonstrated interpersonal relationship skills.Experience, education or working knowledge of the collegesdisciplines.Knowledge of principles and techniques of fundraising, preferablyhigher education.Experience or education in one of the colleges disciples.rrPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions:
