  As a senior member of Genoa Regional Finance, the position will play a key role as the financial advisor and strategic partner to FP&A org and serve as the margin champion for FP&A. The Director will support growth initiatives, expense management and overall P&L management for the region.

  If you are located in EST and CST time zone, you will have the flexibility to work remotely as you take on some tough challenges.

  Primary Responsibilities:

  Lead development of business/financial case for specific initiatives and capital management Develop standard approach to partnering with the payer and rebate teams Perform forecasting and modeling for modeling and rate Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes and identify areas of improvement Lead a group of analysts to automate reporting and unlock analytics to drive operational excellence Demonstrate knowledge to tie data to help drive patient care Strong partnership with sales and client mgmt. relationship org Create business cases for site openings/closures and investment opportunities

  Required Qualifications:

  BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or related field 5+ years of relevant, high-impact financial experience Experience in communicating complex thoughts in a clear, concise, and timely manner both in written and oral form Solid understanding of FP&A and financial modeling Demonstrated ability to work independently with key business executives (Finance, Operations, Clinical Technology, etc.) to evaluate business processes and key drivers of operational and business performance Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues, assess implications and implement appropriate action plans Demonstrated combination of creativity and discipline applied to execution of scalable new growth initiatives Proven exceptional financial acumen Proven ability to partner with the business and guide decisions to ensure operating and financial performance objectives are met Proven ability to proactively identify financial and operating issues and partner with the region to find solutions

  Preferred Qualifications:

  5+ years of experience in pharmacy or PBM Proven solid analytics background and attention to detail Proven excellent communication and organization skills Reside in central or eastern time zones

  Connecticut, New Jersey, New York or Rhode Island Residents Only: The salary range for Connecticut, New Jersey, New York or Rhode Island residents is $101,200 to $184,000 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
