The Associate Director of Counseling serves in a leadership role in the Division of Enrollment Management and is responsible for supervising all counseling and customer service staff. The position provides standards and guidance that support the strategic goals of Syracuse University and specifically the relationship between the Office of Financial Aid and the Office of Admissions.
The Associate Director models best practices and provides leadership and oversight to the counseling and phone/reception areas, both critically important to the university¿s ability to attract a strong and diverse population. They also maintain strong working relationships with the Office of Admissions, our academic partners throughout campus, and external colleagues within the financial aid industry.
