　　Job Description:

　　Parsons is now hiring an entry level Associate Bridge Engineer to join our Troy transportation team! In this role you will utilize and expand your ability for roadway design , working alongside an experienced team on major state and area projects!

　　What You'll Be Doing:

　　Design new and rehabilitated bridges in Michigan and the surrounding region

　　Will ensure that the bridges are designed in accordance with current MDOT manuals and s pecifications, as well as following accepted industry practices and procedures

　　Deliverables will include steel, concrete and potentially wood specifications, estimating, quantity calculations, technical reports, plan details, and detailed engineering analyses

　　Produce data sheets; review supplier drawing submittals; and perform technical bid analysis

　　Will interface with CAD designers, other engineers

　　You will increase knowledge and gain great experience with multiple span steel and concrete bridge designs

　　What Required Skills & Qualifications You'll Bring:

　　4-year degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited college

　　Any bridge design and engineering experience from a combination of class instructions or internships

　　What Preferred Skills & Qualifications You'll Bring:

　　EIT Certification

　　Microstation CAD experience

　　Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

　　Familiarity with LEAP Bridge Software (Conspan and RC Pier)

　　$24.18 - $42.31
