Barrington Stage Company, an award-winning professional theatre companylocated in the heart of the Berkshires (MA), seeks a friendly andlevel-headed Associate Box Office Manager to play an integral role inour audience services team located in Pittsfield, MA. This positionrequires experience with a CRM (preferably Tessitura) , with a focus ondata entry, customer service, and assisting in leading a front of housebox office team. The Associate will have the ability to keep their witsabout them through a busy will-call, so that they may be relied on whenthe Box Office Manager is not present, with a passion for helping thepeople that walk through our doors. They must be able to workindependently, and also will be encouraged to offer their own expertiseand lived experience to ensure best workplace practice. Duties - Providesecond in command leadership to a regional theatre box office. - Assisttheatre attendees with any and all ticketing needs, services, andquestions - Understand company policy as it relates to ticketing,including when to bend rules for specific patrons as needed in order toensure customer retention - Oversee daily operations occurring in thebox office; including processing ticket orders, taking donations,processing ticket exchanges, fulfilling comp ticket requests, andrunning house reports - Process ticket donation requests from communitygroups and non-profit organizations - Assist in maintaining databases,including: running reports, pulling lists, data entry, data cleanup,conducting analysis, complete training in order to conduct regularbusiness using multiple data systems (ie Tessitura, TNEW, and Ovation) -Assist in training seasonal employees in customer service, policy, andTessitura CRM - Proofread and provide feedback on regular physical anddigital marketing content Skills - A kind demeanor, with the abilityto work under pressure when needed. - Familiarity and experience with aticketing CRM required (Tessitura preferred) - Experience with customerservice is necessary - Flexibility coinciding show schedules. This oftenincludes working in the evenings, and on weekends (in season) - Apassion for arts and culture is preferred This position reports to theBox Office Manager. It is a full-time exempt, year round position withoccasional evening/weekend work October through May and requiredevening/weekend work June through September. Salary is \$42,000annually, relocation assistance for out-of-town candidates as well as acompetitive benefit package.
