This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

We offer 8 weeks of paid training during normal business hours.

Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinate with insurance carriers to reconcile/resolve any issues

Analyzing and reconciling cash posting entries

Familiar with explanation of benefits

Maintain Compliance and HIPAA standards at all times

Meet or exceed daily production standards

Meet or exceed daily quality standards

Perform other duties and functions as assigned

Process insurance, client and patient refunds

Process adjustments and credit balances

Evaluate and respond to all emails request for any deposit issues in order to resolve in a timely matter

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma / GED

Must be 18 years of age OR older

1+ year experience with working within a professional setting performing data entry

Ability using computer and Windows PC applications, which includes keyboard and navigation skills and ability to learn new computer programs

Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft Word (creating and writing memos), Microsoft Excel (creating, filtering, and navigating reports in spreadsheets), and Microsoft Outlook (setting calendar appointments and emails)

Ability to work between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM from Monday - Friday

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years of customer service experience

Banking OR Medical Billing experience

Ability to use remote meeting / learning applications including instant messaging and video conferencing

Medical terminology acumen and experience

Billing OR collections experience and understands multiple billing requirements across various payers and states

Telecommuting Requirements:

Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy

Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Soft Skills:

Demonstrated problem solving, organization and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
