This remote position is for an Associate Principal Analyst, User Experience and Front-end Engineering.
Summary: As an Associate Principal Analyst, you will engage clients every day supporting their mission critical priorities, helping them to make the right decisions for their role and business. To support these conversations you will research markets, practices and trends, and partner with peers to create actionable content for Gartner clients. You will showcase your own thought-leading research, growing your knowledge and your brand as a Gartner Expert.
Responsibilities: Conduct research and analysis in specific areas of expertise targeting clients' key initiatives. Respond to client questions and deliver high quality actionable advice through a variety of media. Create clear, actionable, and consumable content. Predict how (insert content area) markets are developing, help clients in their decision process and assist vendors in overall market positioning. Remain ahead of the curve on developments and issues within these specified areas, through peer collaboration from your (insert content area) team.Proactively work with the wider sales and service organization and deliver outstanding client support in order to retain and grow the business.
Qualifications: Bachelor's or equivalent experience. Willing to occasionally travel, regionally and globally. Three to five years' experience working as part of an agile software development team as a User Experience (UX) designer or digital Product Designer: Your experiences involve taking stakeholder and user needs, delivering fully designed solutions, and working directly with engineering to develop and release working software. Focused on technical implementation aspects of UX functionality/capabilities for custom software builds. Subject matter familiarity in UX design, front-end development, web/mobile/application UX, user accessibility implementation or other similar areas. Help us see the future & be creative. You must be a lifelong learner with foundational knowledge and experience in technical UX design, development, and up-keep. Experience in at least two of the following areas: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies. Knowledge of or proficiency in user research techniques, such as user interviews, surveys, and usability testing. Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups using tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD. Hands-on experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Knowledge of responsive design principles and the ability to create user interfaces that work seamlessly across different devices, screen sizes and platforms. Custom software UX implementation and development. Web/mobile UX design and development. Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines, such as WCAG 2.0 or 2.1, and experience in implementing accessible design practices. Knowledge of development processes and pipelines including CI/CD, automation and release technologies. Experience with Design Systems and related tooling and implementation efforts. Business Acumen.
