This course is part of a set of business core requirements that examines the interrelationships between business principles/practices and broader contexts, including historical, cultural, political, and social.

Successful candidates will likely hold a Ph.D. in Management, Organizational Behavior, or a closely related field, but those with terminal degrees in other fields and experience teaching business are welcome to apply. We are seeking candidates with a commitment to teaching excellence, including experienced educators and promising new teachers demonstrating strong potential in education. A record of scholarship and publishing is also valued.

This group of scholars has expertise in a broad range of organizationally relevant topics, including ethics, individual and group decision making processes, intra-group conflict, negotiations, stigma, diversity, workplace relationships, mental health, moral judgments, politics in the workplace, organizational justice, identity processes, interpersonal and business communication, the history of business, and healthcare management, among others. Our faculty are known for their research excellence, but many have also earned prestigious awards in recognition of their exceptional teaching.
