　　Position SummaryThe Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at Michigan State University (MSU) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position. We anticipate an appointment at the Assistant Professor level,

　　but highly qualified applicants at all ranks will also be considered. We seek applicants who use state-of-the-art techniques and model systems to study cancer biology, immunology, and/or immunotherapy associated with microbes such as tumor virology, oncolytic virus/viral oncotherapy, bacterial agents of cancer, and cancer microbiome/virome. 　　The successful applicant is expected to establish and maintain a vigorous, extramurally funded research program in their area of expertise and contribute to teaching undergraduate, graduate, and/or professional students associated with the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. Applicants must hold a PhD, MD, DO, DVM, or equivalent degree, with postdoctoral experience and a strong record of research productivity and lead author publications in peer-reviewed journals.
