Job Description:
APPOINTMENT: February 2024.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The assistant women\'s volleyball coach isresponsible for assisting the head coach with the conduct of practicesand games, working on individual player development, supervisingpre-season and conditioning programs, assisting with recruitment andcontact of prospective student-athletes, promoting and maintainingpositive public relations, helping to plan and conduct summer camps,plus other duties as assigned by the head coach. Successful candidatemust be committed to the academic success of student-athletes and becommitted to their personal growth and social development. Successfulcandidate must be fully committed to all NCAA, The Ohio ValleyConference, and Western Illinois University Athletics Departmentpolicies and procedures.

Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor\'s Degree;Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills;Collegiate volleyball coaching or playing experience.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Playing and/or coaching volleyball experience at the D1 or D2 level;Excellent organizational and communication skills.For a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionallyaccredited degree-granting institution of higher education (orequivalent from an international accrediting body). Unless otherwisestated, the degree must be conferred at the time of appointment.
