Job Summary
The Assistant Registrar, Academic Services manages all aspects of curricular and degree progress functions within the Registrar’s Office. The Assistant Registrar provides oversight and leadership for efforts related to the Registrar’s Office active role in catalog development, course and program approvals, schedule of classes development, classroom assignments, and degree audit standardization and consistency. In addition to providing supervision and leadership for staff in the Academic Services area, the Assistant Registrar is expected to understand and engage in daily processes related to the functions of the area, including, in particular, ensuring the cohesion of those functions. The Assistant Registrar also actively engages with the Associate Registrar and Registrar in collaborations with academic units across campus in relation to the functions of the Academic Services area. The Assistant Registrar serves in a leadership role in the Registrar’s Office and contributes to improved service across the department.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or commensurate combination of training and experience as a professional in a business setting
Demonstrated administrative experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions or another similar integrated data management system
Demonstrated ability to form and lead cohesive teams to accomplish objectives
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to provide a vision for managing, developing, and maximizing the productivity of professional staff
Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and vision for providing excellent customer service
Experience as a high-level functional user of a student information system and related technologies
Understanding of applicable curricular policies and experience in procedural development and policy enforcement
Demonstrated ability to think creatively, balance competing priorities, and engage with others in a productive, forward-thinking manner
Target Salary Range $60,000 - $62,500
