  Assistant Professor, Tenure Track, Health Equity & Public Policy

  The Cornell Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy at Cornell University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Health Equity and Public Policy. We seek an early career social scientist whose research and teaching interests address policy-relevant issues relating to health equity. We welcome applicants with scholarly training and expertise in public policy and health policy. The successful candidate will be part of a major hiring initiative at Cornell's new Brooks School of Public Policy. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in a field related to Public Policy and/or Health Policy.

  The Cornell Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy was established in 2021 to tackle the most pressing policy challenges we face in the U.S. and globally. To advance this goal, we are hiring world-class research scholars across a variety of disciplines who are oriented toward policy engagement and impact.

  This position may be supported by Cornell University's FIRST program , via a grant from the NIH's Common Fund's , to recruit early-career faculty who have a demonstrated commitment to inclusive excellence. "Inclusive excellence" refers to cultures that establish and sustain scientific environments that cultivate and benefit from a full range of talent.

  Pay Range:

  $76,200.00 - $211,000.00

  Pay Ranges:

  The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined considering the following criteria:

  Prior relevant work or industry experience.

  Education level to the extent education is relevant to the position.

  Academic Discipline (faculty pay ranges reflects 9-month annual salary)

  Unique applicable skills.
