　　LC State invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor ofKinesiology.

　　Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: \$50,000 -\$60,000 (full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position)

　　Degree Required: Ph.D. from a regionally accredited college oruniversity

　　Required Qualifications:

　　Deliver high-quality lecture and skills courses in kinesiology withan emphasis in health.Ability to teach courses in a variety of modalities (face-to-face,online, virtual remote, etc.)Preferred Qualifications:

　　Experience teaching at the undergraduate level.Preference will be given to candidates who are able to teach fitnessand kinesiology courses in addition to health.Responsibilities:

　　The teaching load is 24 credit hours per year. Primary teachingresponsibilities will be health classes including nutrition, wellnesscoaching, aging and physical activity, behavior change, and addictionand performance. The classes are taught through multiple modalitiesincluding face-to-face and online.

　　Additional duties include advising & mentoring students, engaging inscholarship/professional development, providing service to the divisionand the college, as well as direct and indirect activities to supportrecruitment and retention of students.
