  The Cornell Initiative to bridge Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Neuroscience invites applications for two open rank, tenure track faculty positions in the Departments of Neurobiology and Behavior () and Computational Biology ().

  Candidates may use experimental, computational, and/or machine learning methods to understand the neural basis of animal or human behavior. Individuals are expected to establish a vigorous, externally funded, internationally recognized research program and to excel in undergraduate and graduate teaching programs. These hires are part of a larger Initiative in AI research at Cornell and successful candidates should have a pioneering spirit and a track record of collaborative work and enthusiasm about bridging top-ranked systems neuroscience, neuroengineering, behavior, computational biology and AI communities established at Cornell ().

  Qualifications: A PhD in neuroscience, computational biology, computer science, behavior, physics, or a related field and a primary interest in understanding behavior and neural data through the development and use of computational, statistical and/or machine learning methods. Postdoctoral experience with a demonstrated record of productivity is required.
