Located 30 miles north of downtown Dallas, Omni PGA Frisco Resort is the largest resort currently in development in the country. Opening spring 2023, the resort will feature 500 guest rooms and suites, 10 four-bedroom ranch houses, three pools, including an adults-only rooftop infinity pool, a destination spa, Lounge by Top Golf, and over 127,000-square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. An expansive retail and entertainment district will feature dining, shopping and an outdoor stage set to be activated for concerts and outdoor programming. The Resort will become a leading destination for golf providing an unparalleled experience for those who are advanced players, new to the game, and everything in between. The resort will offer 46 holes of golf designed by Beau Welling and Gil Hanse, including two 18-hole championship golf courses, a lighted 10-hole short course, and a lighted two-acre putting green.
Job Description
Omni PGA Frisco Resortis now hiring anAssistant Director of Financeto supervise, monitor and review all on site accounting activities including account reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, research, accounts receivable billing, credit and collection, and the monitoring of operations systems and procedures and control features.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee on-site accounting functions with the Director of Finance and Controller.
Ensure a smooth accounting processes, particularly as it relates to Payroll and Cash handling responsibilites.
Ensure daily balance of timecards to Daily Labor Report.
Responsible for complete training of hourly staff for corresponding job duties.
Ensure maintenance of all daily filing of documents needed for research requests from guest and in-house users.
Ensure all external/internal guest requests are resolved and/or responded to in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance to all Standard Operating Procedures
Assist in audit requests.
Work closely with all departments to come up with solutions to Systems & Controls problems.
Complete assigned balance sheet account reconciliations.
Ensure a timely month-end close.
Assist in producing accurate financial statements with department heads.
Ensure that daily cash management functions - Audit banks, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely follow up on over/short violations.
Display and effectively communicate the Omni Culture throughout the department and resort alike.
Qualifications
Must have 4-5 years of accounting experience preferably in the hospitality industry.
Must have Intermediate Excel experience
Must be flexible and able to work some weekends due to month end closing demands.
Must be able to communicate professionally with guests and fellow associates.
College degree in Accounting or Finance is strongly preferred.
Experience with General Ledger software (Oracle), PMS (Opera) and Timekeeper (Kronos).
