Electrical EngineerLocation: Everett, WAJob ID: #68447Pay Range: $46-536 MONTH CONTRACTAn Electrical Engineer 2 creates systems design of aircraft interior products such as bins, galleys, lavatories, closets and ceiling panels used in commercial and private aircrafts using a computer aided drafting system. The Electrical Engineer 2 reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager.Job Responsibilities- Produce complex systems design, 3D models and 2D drawings of aircraft interior products within technical specification and project requirements.- Work with senior design engineers to complete engineering deliverables per project schedule and budget.- Create complex 3D models and 2D drawings that meet the Collins design standards using Collins processes and documentations.- With guidance from senior design engineers, incorporate design-to-cost practices to ensure that project design cost targets are met.- Leverage Collins Cabin standard parts and designs in product development.- Follow 3D models and 2D drawings all the way from creation through release to ensure project schedules are met.- Create status of tasks and progress of work in Collins Engineering task management tool.- With guidance from senior design engineers, coordinate with other department to ensure that designs and drawings incorporate inputs from all disciplines.- Provide engineering support for production to solve technical issues.Experience:- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).- Proficient knowledge of CAD & PLM Systems.Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state lawButler America Aerospace, LLC. is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace and be an affirmative action employer.
