The AACRC also hosts several large-scale traditional programs that are annual marquee events of the African American experience at the University of Cincinnati. The Center serves as a resource for enlightenment about the Black experience and has become a known resource for a variety of organizations on campus and in the Greater Cincinnati community.Job OverviewUnder general supervision from a designated administrator, assist with the administration and direction of a multifunctional department or center. Manage, develop, modify, present, and assess co-curricular educational activities and student development programs including but not limited to Open House, Akwaaba (student welcome), Kuamka (leadership competition and excellence programming week), Ushindi (end of the year award celebration), and Tyehimba (Afrocentric celebration for graduates).
