GREENFIELD Assistant Director The RECOVER Project is a peer-to-peersupport center, meaning that we base our approach to recovery onequality between paid roles and supported roles, value the wisdom oflived experience over traditional models, and prioritizeself-determination as it relates to abstinence, harm reduction, the manypathways of recovery, and individuals\' desired ways of interactingwithin the community. The Assistant Director positioninvolves leading a dynamic team in realizing a vision of an inclusiverecovery community while increasing access to appropriate recoverysupport for all people within our communities. The primaryresponsibilities include creating conditions for meaningful communityengagement through a peer participatory process, staff scheduling andsupervision, program development, and overseeing the day-to-daymanagement and operations of the physical space. Some night and weekendhours are required. Qualifications: A candidate with personal livedexperience in recovery and a demonstrated commitment to social justiceis required. Candidate with a minimum of 3 years of lived experiencewith substance use recovery and demonstrated commitment to stability inrecovery and healing. Bachelor\'s degree (equivalent experience may beconsidered in lieu of degree.). Must have excellent oral and writtencommunication skills, critical thinking, leadership and organizationskills, and strong understanding of interpersonal boundaries.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of principles of recovery andability to uphold the value of multiple pathways of recovery. Experiencewith management/coordination, grant writing, contract management, andcommunity engagement Minimum of 3 years supervision experience andproven competency in working with people from diverse backgroundsAbility to work independently as well as within a team. Strong abilityto prioritize time and tasks to meet deadlines. Knowledge and experienceworking with local recovery-oriented community organizations and serviceproviders is preferred. Proficient in Office 365, data management andsocial media. Valid Driver\'s license and reliable transportation andsome in-state travel required.
