　　Are you looking for an Early Education assistant Child Care teacher role in a welcoming and exciting intergenerational center?

　　TowerLight Senior Living is located in historic St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Only 10 minutes from downtown Minneapolis, we are near public transportation and the crossroads of Highways 7 and 100. Our community offers 115 units of breathtakingly appointed Independent Living Apartments, innovative Assisted Living Apartments, state-of-the art Memory Care and Enhanced Care Suites (as well as an intergenerational day care). 　　We are looking for an Assistant Child Care Teache r to support Ebenezer’s Intergenerational program by caring for and teaching young children in their assigned age group. Early Education Assistants will teach, plan and organize childcare program activities to ensure that the program provides the highest quality childcare available.

　　This position includes:

　　80 hours in two weeks

　　Monday- Friday, Days (8AM- 5PM)

　　Responsibilities/Job Description

　　Responsibilities include but not limited to:

　　Implementing developmentally age appropriate curriculum

　　Maintaining a child friendly and orderly classroom

　　Implementing effective guidance and support strategies

　　Coordinate and contribute to the teaching team

　　Supervises health, safety, and overall well being of children at all times

　　Participates in program areas such as intergeneration activities

　　Maintaining certification in Pediatric First Aid, CPR, SUIDS/AHT

　　Qualifications

　　Minimum Education

　　highschool- Child Development or Teacher qualified under Minnesota 9503.0032

　　Preferred Education

　　Two years full time post-secondary education with 9 quarter or 6 semester early childhood/child psychology or related field coursework.

　　Must meet Department of Human Services Rule 3 assistant teacher qualifications
