Minimum Qualifications:
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Education, or a related field or a related field.Required Experience
2 years of Higher Education experience or related experience in a Grant settingTraining and Education may be substituted for the required education or experience .
3 years of experience in higher education, career and technical education, program management or grant administration may be substituted for degree in the required fields of study.Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Candidate must possess effective skills in organization and human relations
Must possess the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and orally
Must work with minimal supervision and be a self-starter; and have the ability to plan, implement, and report on policy studies with minimum supervision.

Reporting to the Carl D. Perkins Grant Coordinator, the Assistant Carl D. Perkins Grant Coordinator will assist to ensure compliance of the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2018 required program activities and services. This position will be integral to ensuring BRCC’s preparation and consistent maintenance of the internal grant(s) audit process.
Ensure Compliance with Federal and State Regulations such as the Code of Federal Regulations, Education Department General Administrative Regulations, Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act, and the Perkins State Plan.

Coordinates and communicate with deans, department chairs, and other careers technical education faculty to ensure that the Perkins department is meeting the industry needs for in-demand, high wage, and emerging careers
Assist with developing and submitting budget for approval including, processing the required budget paperwork, and completing required fiscal reports.
Assist with managing expenditures.

Assist with retaining records, inventory, requisitions, reports, and other documentation regarding the program.
Assist with ensuring sufficient funding balance allocations

Assist in the compilation of data for quarterly reports.
Assist in the development of the Local Application Plan.
Assist in preparation of Allocation Data Request

Attend all required professional development activities related to Carl Perkins Grant(s).
Represent BRCC at all Perkins functions.
5% Other duties as assigned.
