[FEU].The primary function of this position will be the support, business administration, and documentation of substation asset management tools used by FirstEnergy (FE). The position will be responsible for system configuration, user management, business product development, procedure development, and training for the applications supported by Asset Management and Records Control (AMRC) group. This position provides the successful candidate with opportunities for experience and growth in operational technologies related to substations.This position reports to the Supervisor, Asset Information and is located in Akron, Ohio.Responsibilities include:Demonstrate and direct a solid commitment to all aspects of safety.Utilize project management skills for tracking and monitoring Asset Information projects.Document process improvements and efficiencies to improve work products including the development of standards and guidelines.Support regulatory and compliance reporting activities.Interface with software vendors (DNV-GL, ENOSERV, & ABB), FE IT, and FE internal stakeholders on projects relating to Cascade.Work with utility peers to determine asset information management best practices.Run data queries against system data.Conduct technical research and analyzing complex data, interpret results, provide recommendations for high-level solutions.Work with IT on creating technical solutions to complex issues and assignments.Recommend and implement business process updates that support asset management system users.Work with internal and external stakeholders to manage, enhance, and maintain the asset system operation and data.Act as a business unit interface to IT for managing, enhancing, and maintaining asset system data integration to other systems.Develop solutions, processes, and procedures as required by various business units and internal and external stakeholders.Provide a high level of service, continuous support, and proactive involvement to leadership and fellow peers surrounding technical subject matter.Provide support to FE business units on data and Power BI reports related to substation assets.Participate in corporate hazard response for storm restoration.Qualifications include:Associate or Bachelor degree with a minimum 4 years professional work experience is preferred.In lieu of a degree, 7 years of direct, related experience will be considered.Demonstrate a questioning attitude to continue to learn, produce results, and strengthen existing relationships.Ability to model active learning through continuing to develop breadth of knowledge, skills, and perspective.Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively convey information to various levels in the organization.In-depth understanding of technical products and services to meet customer needs and expectations.Ability to develop effective working relationships with employees at all levels of FirstEnergy.Desire to continue to career growth, deliver results, and lead projects.Deliver quality, accurate work within establi
