As a Product Assembly and Quality Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality connectors, interconnect cables, and general products for the professional audio, broadcast, and recording industry. Your primary responsibilities will include product sorting, labeling, assembly, quality control inspection, and packaging. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels and preparing sales orders for dispatch. Having a general knowledge of audio recording equipment and processes will be beneficial in performing your duties effectively.
Job Specifications:
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Wallingford, CT.
Pay Rate: $20/Hr.
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday) 9am-5pm with a paid lunch
Roles and Responsibilities:
Sort products and parts according to specifications
Barcode and SKU labeling of products for accurate tracking
Bag individual products using multiple components
Assemble various cable sub-assemblies into finished products
Perform final Quality Control inspection to ensure product quality
Package products for retail sale
Create product "Builds" of each finished product in Quickbooks Enterprise
Utilize software programs such as Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise Desktop, Dymo Labeling Software, and Microsoft Office apps
Coordinate with UPS Worldship for shipping requirements
Maintain inventory levels of components and supplies
Prepare sales orders for dispatch
Take on additional related responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in product assembly and quality control preferred
Familiarity with audio recording equipment and processes is a plus
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication skills
Proficient in using computer software programs
