Develop Comprehensive Knowledge:
oAcquire in-depth knowledge of production processes, equipment,materials, and product specifications.
oSet-up, Operate, and Test Production Equipment:
oProficiently set up, operate, test, and troubleshoot various productionequipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Adherence to Tolerances and Equipment Adjustment:
oStrictly adhere to established tolerances and adeptly adjust machineryas needed for efficient operation.
Reading and Interpretation of Technical Documentation:
oRead and interpret basic drawings, schematics, bills of material, andtechnical documents with precision.
Diagnose and Perform Basic Equipment Repairs:
oIdentify and resolve issues by diagnosing and performing basic repairson mechanical equipment and instruments.
Operation of Hand and Power Tools:
oEfficiently operate power and manual hand tools essential forproduction activities.
Blueprint Understanding and Utilization:
oDemonstrate proficiency in comprehending blueprints, drawings, manuals,catalogues, schematics, or prints.
Proficiency in Tool Usage:
oSkillfully use powered and manual hand tools, including soldering iron,multimeter, wrench, hammer, screwdriver, etc.
Troubleshooting and Repair Experience:
oApply previous experience in troubleshooting and repairing productiontooling, equipment, and testing machinery.
Understanding of Production Processes and Quality Control:
oApply a comprehensive understanding of production processes, qualitycontrol techniques, and strategies to optimize product manufacture.
Additional Assigned Duties:
oPerform any other assigned duties as necessary to support productionand operational requirements.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; additional certification inmechanical assembly or an Associate\'s degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with aproven track record of technical proficiency and adherence to standards.
Successful Essential Skills:
Proficient in Epicor transactions within a production setting. Instructsand enhances team skills to improve overall efficiency. Accountable fordata accuracy and completeness.
Familiarity with local, state, and federal safety and environmentalregulations relevant to the role.
Understanding of Dexter\'s DBPs, policies, and processes, ensuringcompliance with organizational standards.
Capable of reading, analyzing, and interpreting data effectively forinformed decision-making.
Demonstrates the ability to create an encouraging work environment thatmotivates team members, even without direct reporting relationships.
