Description Robert Half is urgently seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. Located in Louisville, Kentucky, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary position. In this dynamic department, there is an opportunity for career growth and quick advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk duties will include matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.

　　Facilitate internal and external audits as needed

　　Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily

　　Accomplish full-cycle A/P

　　Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs

　　Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department

　　Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

　　Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed

　　Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

　　Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed Requirements - Accounts Payable (AP) experience

　　Command of Receptionist Duties

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

　　Spreadsheet and database capabilities

　　Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

　　Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
