This manufacturing company located in Minooka designs, builds, and repairs control systems and cabinets for locomotives. It is a medium sized building that has a max of 50 employees on each shift. The work area is very well lit and climate controlled; assemblers will have their own working station to complete all job duties. 　　THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION - IT WILL TRAIN - LOOKING FOR RELIABLE CANDIDATES THAT SHOW UP TO WORK EACH DAY. SEE BELOW FOR JOB DESCRIPTION. IF THE CANDIDATE HAS PREVIOUS WIRING OR ELECTRIAL ASSEMBLY EXPERINCE THAT IS A HUGE PLUS AND THE PAY WILL BE HIGHER TO START.

　　Description:

　　Candidates will sit at their own work station

　　Will install wires onto panel boards using basic hand and power tools (pliers, screwdrivers, etc.)

　　Read work orders, follow production drawings and sample assemblies

　　Receive verbal instructions to assemble panel boards for locomotives

　　Strip insulation from wire ends and crimp/solders wires to connectors and terminals

　　Loop wire along tie bars or other method of forming and securing on a panel

　　Inspect for damage and replaces defective wire

　　6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

　　Monday - Thursday

　　$18/hr to start
