ThePosition: We\'re looking for Asphalt Plant Helper/Operators to work inour Asphalt Manufacturing plants. Under the direction of the Foreman,the Plant Helper will help operate, maintain, and repair the equipmentused to produce asphalt mix for our paving operations while learning howto operate several types of related construction equipment in a safe andefficient manner. Role and Responsibilities: Maintaining a clean andorderly work site and clean up around plant including shoveling and skidsteer operation Learning basic asphalt plant operation requirements andloader operation Confined space entering and monitoring Cutting,fabricating, welding and assistance with repairs as needed Load out oftrucks for material distribution (computer operations) Quality assurancemonitoring to include climbing in trucks for periodic sampling andverifying temperatures Carrying tools & supplies and assisting operatorsin their daily requirements Maintenance and shoveling on top of silosThe Benefits: Our union employees enjoy the quality benefits providedthrough our partnership with our skilled trade unions.
