JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: Under occasional supervision, responsiblefor supervising and coordinating the work of road maintenance crews.Perform various highway repairs including blacktopping, seal coating,shoulder repair, clearing snow, replacing culverts, etc. EssentialDuties & Responsibilities: -Schedules, supervises and directs the workof blacktopping and seal coating work crews ensuring that the projectspecifications are met. -Prepares road shoulders. -Operates snow removalequipment to remove snow/ice from county highways and roads; salts andsands roads as needed. -Clears brush and trees. -Erects snow fences.-Rates roads. -Prepares and maintains various productions, equipment andsafety reports. -May perform duties of work crews on occasion due tolabor shortage or heavy work demands. -Performs any other relatedhighway maintenance and construction work as required. ***** OTHEREXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Five years asphalt paving, highwayrepair, maintenance and supervisory experience. ***** APPLICATIONINSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: www.co.shawano.wi.us
