Art Manager Responsibilities:
Partner on the strategic, creative design and technology across company products
Develop characters and humans representations in digital form
Work with engineers to explore foundational digital character and human 3D pipelines
Review layouts and suggests improvements
Collaborate with artists who are chartered with execution of art assets for the variety of projects within FRL Avatars
Define direction for creative and technology in new product experiences
Partner with product, design and engineering to identify opportunities for feature enhancements that would elevate the quality and user experience
Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, product marketers and engineers to serve a global audience
Responsible for inclusive representation for avatars across family of applications
Salary: $221,426.00-$245,000.00 + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual pay within the stated range is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus or equity or sales incentives, if applicable. In addition to base salary, Meta offers benefits. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field and 36 months in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must have 36 months of experience involving the following:
Shipping at least one AAA title or animated film as an Art Director, Creative Director, or Character Lead
Collaborating cross-functionally, balancing the needs of stakeholders, and breaking down complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas
Working in a product development process
Spotting trending and understanding popular culture in the global media landscape
Providing direction on visual and content strategy
Communicating complex and abstract concepts clearly and persuasively
