　　The Architectural Designer will lead in design production. They report directly to the Architectural Design Manager for projects and day-to-day responsibilities. The Architectural Designer will develop planning and creative design drawings and details. They will coordinate with other disciplines including mechanical engineering and electrical engineering for projects, and also coordinate with the Project Architect to ensure that designs are translated into technical documents. Projects include healthcare (hospitals, surgery centers, operational research buildings) and commercial buildings, and education buildings / schools.

　　Responsibilities:

　　• Building programming & design concept development.

　　• Schematic design sketches and drawing.

　　• Floorplan development.

　　• Coordination with engineering disciplines and architect.

　　• Project Planning

　　• Support project teams in development of design documentation.

　　• Assist in the development of a design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats.

　　• Utilize BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional models of buildings and their components.

　　• Interpret and applies building codes and requirements of other regulatory agencies.

　　• Prepare and revise documentation in various architectural phases including site plans, floor plans, building elevations, building sections, and details.

　　• Coordinate building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure compatibility with the design intent.

　　• Review shop drawings and submittals, responds to RFIs, prepares site observation reports, and other contract administration tasks.

　　• Coordination of specs with construction documents.

　　• Assist in the evaluation and selection of building systems and materials.

　　• Attend project coordination and meetings.

　　• Takes assigned roles from concept to completion.
