　　As an Architect, Cloud Platform - Data & Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the adoption, development, and ongoing management of cloud infrastructure for Stryker's Data & Analytics needs. You will be responsible for leading the configuration and deployment of cloud-based analytics platforms, with a strong focus on Azure Synapse Analytics. This role will provide thought leadership in cloud platform management, technology leadership, cloud governance, security, and self-service management. Also, providing guidance and mentorship to a group of cloud platform engineers.

　　What You Will Do:

　　Platform Configuration, Deployment, and Management:Lead the configuration and deployment of cloud-based analytics platforms, particularly Azure Analytics Platform.Provide technical leadership in designing and implementing Azure cloud architecture solutions.Oversee issues such as migration and provide strategic direction to architects.Governance, Data Security and Compliance: Develop and implement cloud governance policies and best practices. This includes creating guidelines for resource provisioning, security, compliance, and cost management.Demonstrate expertise in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, enforcing measures such as data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and ensuring alignment with relevant compliance standards.Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations through access controls, encryption, and auditing mechanisms.Audit and Monitoring Proficiency:Implement robust monitoring and auditing mechanisms crucial for governance. This involves setting up monitoring tools and establishing processes to regularly audit the cloud environment for security, compliance, and performance.User Access and Authentication:Administer user access to the analytics platform by configuring user roles, permissions, and authentication methods.Collaborate closely with IT Infrastructure and IT security teams.Cost Management:Monitor cloud costs and usage, implementing cost-saving strategies and budget controls.Provide recommendations for optimizing resource allocation and expenditure.Data Backup and Disaster Recovery:Develop and implement comprehensive data backup and disaster recovery plans.Define and enforce data retention policies for effective data lifecycle management.Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with Data Engineers, Visualization Developers, and Data Scientists, leading a group of architects to manage Azure analytics solutions/platforms.Work closely with stakeholders, offering guidance in translating business requirements into Azure solution designs and collaborating with Data Engineers, Visualization Developers, and Data Scientists.

　　What You Need:

　　Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study required.Master's degree in MIS, MBA, or related disciplines preferred.Azure cloud certifications are a plus.10+ years of experience cloud infrastructure, cloud solutions, Data platforms, Business Intelligence/Analytics, and systems architecture and design.6+ years of experience in Azure administration & architecture, Azure Data Services, ARM templates, PowerShell, and CI/CD using Azure DevOps.Demonstrated advanced experience and knowledge in IT operations, including networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platforms, and governance.Familiarity with Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence solutions.Demonstrated ability to guide the business towards optimal solutions. Experience in identifying opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new process/policies

　　$122,800.00- $271,400.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
