Accomplished through theeffective development, assessment, documentation, and implementation ofArbon technician training. This position also shares responsibility foradministration of the Skills Assessment Pay Program (SAPP) program,ensuring program compliance, evaluation of skills and knowledge tolevels, and performance of such. These tasks may be accomplishedindividually with single technician OJT, or in staged environments withmultiple attendees. This position regularly reviews the skill assessmentreports. Documents and updates as needed to account for changing skillsrequirements, program changes, certification processes. etc., ensuringprogram compliance, evaluation of skills and knowledge to levels, andperformance of such. Using skill assessment documentation and inconsultation with Service and Operations Managers, ensures Techniciansare receiving appropriate opportunities to be certified on skills, thatdocumentation of certifications is properly maintained, and those whohave earned advancement through the skill levels are recognized in atimely manner. At all times, ensures the integrity of skillscertification throughout Arbon, ensuring that only those who truly havethe skill are so certified. Using data from skill certifications, and inconsultation with Service and Installation Managers, identifies andprioritizes training needs within the supported region. PRINCIPALACCOUNTABILITIES Support service efforts through the development andexecution of effective service training programs. 75% of time is spentphysically \"training\" the technicians. Maintain the effectiveness andintegrity of the Arbon Skills Assessment Pay Program. Contribute to asafe environment for all employees to work by inculcating a strongsafety consciousness in all employees throughout all trainingprograms.Required Experience: Qualifications for this position includesolid mechanical and electrical experience, substantial trainingexperience, and clerical and customer relations skills. Associate\'sdegree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school;or five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalentcombination of education and experience.
