Sr. Tax Analyst – Job Description
The successful candidate will be a highly capable, responsible, and hands-on tax professional.
A Sr. Tax Analyst will work in a challenging, fast-paced, and dynamic team environment, supporting the domestic and international tax provision and compliance processes.
This position reports to the Director of Tax.
Responsibilities:
Prepares quarterly and annual income tax provision workpaper and supports the overall process.
Drafts tax footnotes for SEC filings.
Analyze and reconcile tax accounts and performs flux analysis.
Prepare and leads quarterly federal and state income tax estimates and extensions.
Prepare U.S Federal and state tax returns workpapers.
Reviews company’s tax returns prepared by outside providers.
Collaborates closely with outside service providers on other business tax processes such as annual reports filings, business registrations and withdrawals.
Monitors legislative developments, assess, and effectively communicate relevant impacts.
Works closely with treasury department with FBAR filing.
Suggests, develops, and implements process improvement.
Responds to federal and state tax notices.
Assists in various ad hoc projects as needed.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Strong attention to details.
Ability to work effectively with others and independently with a strong sense of ownership.
Ability to document and effectively communicate complex tax issues.
Flexible, hands-on attitude.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Three plus (3+) years of tax experience with mid- to large public accounting firm and/or corporate tax department
Preferred Qualifications:
MS in Taxation or CPA licensure.
Experience in OneSource Tax Provision software.
Experience in fixed assets management software.
Experience using research tools, i.e. Bloomberg Tax.
Work Environment:
Remote work environment.
Occasional travel possible.
Flexibility for overtime as needed to manage work and filing deadlines.
