Kforce has a client that is seeking an Appointment Specialist in Columbia, SC.Summary:The Appointment Specialist is an entry level role in a high-energy, fast-paced, changing environment. The Specialist reviews contracts and applicable forms (training to be provided) to ensure that all required documents are received complete and accurate. They verify compliance with all State and Business requirements. They process appointment requests and ad-hoc requests related to contracting, licensing, and termination.Responsibilities: Appointment Specialist will provide excellent day-to-day customer service to agents, brokers, and Sales management Support State appointment verification and processing for new and existing producers Process contract and license requirements; Resident and non-residence requirements, license renewals, and appointment terminations High transaction processing output with focus on providing a positive customer experience; Balancing efficiency, timeliness, and quality As an Appointment Specialist, you will collaborate with other team members to ensure effective resolution of customer needs, follow-up, and workflow Develop and maintain a broad understanding of our products, producer licensing and appointment requirements and technology Interface with producers through different service channels - phone, email, etc. Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have 2 or more years of customer service and administrative experience Basic computer skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel-data entry, Word-documentation, and communication with internal and external partners), Outlook-manage multiple mailboxes and respond accordingly) and MS Teams Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required Excellent organizational skills Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment with attention to detail Ability to maneuver between system applications confidently to find information and respond to customer needs in a timely manner
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
