About Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst

  Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its Jersey City, New Jersey location.

  Duties: Perform data analysis, data lineage and mapping. Prepare Business Requirements documents including Gap analysis. Use SQL, MS Suite, JIRA, Confluence. Evaluate complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Perform application design reviews. Perform quality analysis and testing. Collaborate with teams for integration of functions. Identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Perform data analysis to resolve high impact problems and projects. Apply knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to architecture blueprint. Use knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, user testing, debugging, and implementation. Integrate business architecture and infrastructure to accomplish business goals. Analyze and define issues and develop solutions. Provide training. Plan project deliverables and milestones. Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the organization, its clients and assets. Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, and business practices. Escalate and report control issues with transparency. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

  Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (any), Engineering Management or related field and 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, Project Manager, Sr. Associate or related position involving data analysis and Gap analysis for the financial services industry. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in the stated fields and 6 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 4 years of experience must include: Preparing Business Requirements documents including Gap analysis; Data analysis, data lineage and mapping; Application design reviews; Quality analysis and testing; User testing; Providing training; Planning project deliverables and milestones; and SQL, MS Suite, JIRA, Confluence.
