Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its Jersey City, NJ location.Duties: Work with core team and deliver solutions using Impala/Hive, Parquet, Kafka, and related Big Data Technologies. Perform requirement gathering and understanding, analyze and convert functional requirements into concrete technical tasks and able to provide reasonable effort estimates. Execute end-to-end project delivery within schedule and with required level of quality. Report on all projects to senior management and cross-functional key stakeholders. Coordinate the management of cross-function interdependencies and lead on the execution of communication plans to all key stakeholders. Work proactively with global teams to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges with enough lead time to address project delivery risks. Provide expertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues during project delivery. Code reviews, test case reviews and ensure code developed meets the requirements. Lead systems analysis, architecture, Design, Coding, Unit Testing and other SDLC activities. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Six (6) years of experience must include: Performing technical design to onboard flow and conduct data transformation; Responsible for end-to-end project delivery within schedule and with required level of quality, and working proactively with global teams in daily scrum calls to address project requirements and articulate issues and challenges with enough lead time to address project delivery risks; Responsible for performing data analysis by writing complex SQL queries using analytical function to solve business queries and providing design and architecture guidance to team to build future reference data onboarding solutions; Working with business analysts to understand the business and functional requirements and convert functional requirements into concrete technical tasks while providing reasonable effort estimates; Tracking project issues in JIRA, providing expertise in technical analysis, solving technical issues during project delivery, and reporting on projects to senior management and cross-functional key stakeholders; Coordinating the management of cross-function interdependencies, leading on the execution of communication plans to all key stakeholders, and sending weekly status report to stakeholders showing RAG (Red, Amber, and Green) status of project; Working with QA team to review test cases, ensuring the code developed meets the requirements, and setting-up peer reviews to ensure code follows defined frameworks; and Working with end users to identify test scenarios and preparing test cases for user acceptance testing.
